I have found a new way of detecting scammers, even if they change their name with a hack or change their actual Facebook name, or they are in a Marketroom, you now have a way to know they are a scammer before they scam you, or let them scam you and get a link to their profile and report them. Now that scammers can change the name of their character with certain programs, it is important to be extra careful to avoid scammers in the future, and recognize them by they're Facebook ID code so they can't fool you in the future. I am creating here, with your help, a database of scammers sorted by Facebook ID codes, along with proof of their crimes and a way to see their Facebook profile link so you can report them. To find out if a user has had scams reported in the past, simply search their Facebook ID code on this website.
In order to keep this site organized and make it easy to search for scammers, we ask that you use the following formatting for your scam report. Any post not made with the proper formatting will be deleted. You can make your post in the "New Scam Reports/Nuevos informes de estafa" board on the home page, there's no need to make an account.
You will need to include video proof of the scam, including showing the identity of the scammer and his sales pitch.
Video Format:
Step 1: Refresh the page
Step 2: Keep the game in view at all times
Step 3: Search the scammers Facebook ID code in Cheat Engine
Step 4: Show the scammers full name and begin trading
Step 5: Show the items being traded in your menu to the camera while trading
Step 6: Trade
Step 7: Show your items in a trade
Don't forget to film his sales pitch, so that you can prove he is a scammer in your video. Your video has to be one continuous shot, not sped up. Make sure to show the current name of the scammer in both Cheat Engine and Stick Run. Don't let anything overlap more than 60% of the screen for any length of time.
If you are using low quality screen capture video software like I was, and you can't see most of the screen because it's too blurry, then try using windows magnifier. You can put it to the left of the game, so that people can see what your mouse hovers over better. You could use a program like MenuTools to force the program to remain in view at all times, using the always on top function.
The videos below shows how to get the Facebook Profile ID code from anybody in a MarketRoom or MarketPlace, how to search for them, and how to report them on our website. I will be redoing them, seeing as I made a few mistakes and I could have done better, but they should be good enough for now.
The following is the format you will use in your posts, if you want them to be approved by my Moderators. We call it the scam report form.
Subject Line: FACEBOOKPROFILEIDHERE
This is an example of what your post will look like once you complete our scam report form. There is no example video yet, but if you follow the steps on this page and in the instructional videos above, you should be fine.
Facebook Profile Link
Facebook ID Code: 100012711511602
Don't pay any attention to the name of the person scamming, hackers can change they're name but never they're Facebook ID code. If you think someone is a scammer, check they're ID code first, to find out how, read the "Read this before you post or your post will be deleted!" thread.
